Libby Beattie Interior Design Ltd. is a company which provides residential and commercial clients with interior design services as well as furniture and furnishings. They work with New Zealand's best furniture manufacturers, upholsterers and fabric houses to create beautiful pieces including sofas, chairs, dining tables, dining chairs, entertainment units, bookcases, beds and bed heads. In addition, they work with New Zealand's best specialist curtain and cushion makers, lamp makers and fabric merchants to provide exceptional curtains, blinds, wallpaper, shades, carpets, flooring, rugs, throws, light shades and cushions.
During her educational career, Libby earned a Diploma in Interior Design from the Inchbald School of Design in London. She went on to work for ten years in Europe before returning to her native New Zealand. While in France, Libby spent three years converting a fifteenth century chateau into apartments for holiday retreats. She is a member of the Designers Institute of New Zealand. Libby has also taught interior design, been the resident designer on TVNZ's Good Morning show and worked as a set stylist for television dramas and advertising photo shoots.
