The New SG VEG Product from Stealth Grow
Stealth Grow has announced a new LED grow panel titled the SG VEG. The new LED panel presents a wider area of coverage for growers while using the same heat sink and optical diffusers seen in other Stealth Grow products.
LAS VEGAS, NV, November 18, 2011 /Home and Garden PR News/ -- Stealth Grow has announced a new LED grow panel titled the SG VEG. The new LED panel presents a wider area of coverage for growers while using the same heat sink and optical diffusers seen in other Stealth Grow products. The panel includes vibration and shock resistance technology, as well a 2-watt chip that uses less electricity.
Stealth Grow is pleased to introduce its newest LED grow panel called the SG VEG. The SG VEG is designed for growers who operate 24-hour vegetation rooms and who need a product that can withstand long-term usage. The heat sinks found inside the product keep the LED lights cool to prevent burn outs, while the optical diffusers help disperse light to produce softer light. Both the heat sinks and optical diffusers make the SG VEG ideal for long-term, continuous usage.
The SG VEG also includes a 2-watt chip designed to use less power without sacrificing intensity, and because the device uses a lower watt chip, it reduces a grower's electric bill. Also, as with previous product lines, the SG VEG includes shock and vibration resistances, preventing the LED bulbs from flickering or breaking due to movement.
The 288 LED lights that go into a single panel produce three different spectra of light: 455nm-475nm, 620nm-630nm and bright white, with all three spectra providing essential light wavelengths for plants.
The SG VEG also has a lifespan of 50,000 to 100,000 hours, or 5 to 11 years of continuous usage. The design of the new panel offers more coverage area for growers, and compared to the SG 602 and SG 1250 HO, the SG VEG presents the largest coverage area at 4' x 6'. It may be slightly larger than other SG products at 13" x 19" x 4", but the added width is necessary for providing better coverage.
According to Stealth Grow, the SG VEG is best used by growers who want "better leaf density as well as more flowering sites for their plants".
