Dry Zone Basement Systems Helps out Toys for Tots
Local basement waterproofing contractors are operating a toy collection site at their Taunton office throughout December.
TAUNTON, MA, December 08, 2011 /Home and Garden PR News/ -- It's the season of giving once again and the crew at Dry Zone Basement Systems, which provides basement waterproofing in Brookline, MA, and the surrounding towns, is doing their part to help the community. They are asking their neighbors and customers to pitch in and help local needy children. Dry Zone will be collecting new and unwrapped toys at their Whites Avenue office for Toys for Tots until December 17.
This is the first year that Dry Zone is acting as a drop-off location for toys and staff members have been telling all customers that book free estimates, service appointments and installations about the toy drive. Owner Todd Lutinski has a strong interest in Toys for Tots, as the Marines run it and Lutinski has several Marine veteran family members. Two of his crewmembers are also Marine veterans.
"It means a lot to us to support needy children in our local community and for it to be something that has to do with the Marines is even better!" Lutinski said.
To help out, Dry Zone is asking that customers give a toy to the inspector that visits their home for an estimate, the foreman at the job installation, or the service technician during a maintenance call. Local residents may also drop off a gift in person during normal business hours at 6 Whites Avenue in Taunton. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
